Another week, another sneak peek into the new Tanya album My Turn. This week’s tune is “Is Anybody Goin’ to San Antone.”
Peter Anderson and Tanya agreed that Is Anybody Goin’ To San Antone needed a Tex-Mex twist. “I remember that song when Charley Pride did it,” she says. “I was living in Phoenix. I saw Charley when I was eleven years old. I was in audience, and the whole place went wild when he sang ‘or Phoenix, Arizona…’After the show I got his autograph.”
