I agree, Mitchell. Not only does Patty restore the original lyrics to this nearly 50 year old song, she makes it a topical commentary of our current hard times. This song choice is analogous to Harlan on Mt. Soul I. And. . . her vocal is dead on. The backing is most definitely bluegrassy. Can’t wait to hear more.

I think that statement can be applied to Patty’s version of “Busted” as well. Patty’s voice is pure Mountain virtuosity…It rings with character and authenticity and no one on the scene today sings with more conviction and credibility than Patty Loveless. Her natural Country charisma is captivating and beyond compare.
