Edwin is THE BEST!!!! He rocks my world, sings my soul, brings me to tears, makes me laugh & can cure my blues in a heartbeat!! And all of this just through his music! It’s MUCH better when I get to SEE him play it though!! I am waiting as patiently as possible for West Coast dates.
This new song is more proof of his musical genius and the wonderful people he works with, Larry, Craig, Maia et al. Amazingly wonderful!!
I was in Fenway at the Paul McCartney show last August. When Paul sings Silly Love Songs, I think of Edwin and how everyone always wants him to do ROCK and stop the ballads. WHY? Paul said,
“You’d think that people would have had enough of silly love songs.
But I look around me and I see it isn’t so. Oh, no
Some people wanna fill the world with silly love songs.
And what’s wrong with that?
I’d like to know, ’cause here I go again
I love you
I love you”
Paul McCartney just knocks out one love song after another, year after year… album after album. And we all love it.

This song is just awesome live….the past few concerts I have seen Edwin do this song – he comes out to the front of the stage and does this song alone. It is a wonderful wedding song – if we can get this on the radio it will blast to the top like “I’ll Be” did !!Then we can get Edwin the kind of revenue he can use to tour and play the music that isn’t on the radio – the music we love best !!!!

It truly touched my heart, and I agree with a former post that this song could totally be a hit up there with “I’ll Be.” Amazing work Edwin! I go to your official website almost daily just to hear it playing!

The songs he comes out with are so stellar, I can’t listen to it without getting goosebumps. Watching him perform it is just magical. You can just feel the love. Edwin’s writing ability has always astounded me so much insight and empathy even, his early songs, it’s amazing how much he knew about life in his teen years and early 20′s!!! Edwin you are Amazing, never stop writing and performing I don’t know what I would do if you retired!!!? LOVE ya!!
