Express Night Out posted an extensive interview with Edwin McCain in preparation for his gig at the Birchmere.

EXPRESS: What’s next for you the rest of 2010, aside from the upcoming single “Walk With You” and continued touring?
MCCAIN: Well, it’s just continuing touring, and I’ve got 15 songs; I’ll probably have 25 songs ready for a new record in a minute. So I’m looking forward to seeing that through and making that album. But it’s weird — we’re right at that crossroads where it’s like, do you put out a new record, or do you get 15 songs and release them every month? And I have no idea — it’s really interesting to be a part of the music business as it changes right now.

So what do you think? Should Edwin release a track a month or stick to putting them in album format? I guess it really depends on how patient you are.
