“Fast-forward to 2010, and they have readied the release of their much anticipated new studio album Party Heard Around The World, the first new material with Collins in the lead role. The band themselves had pretty much a total hand in this album as they took on the role of producer and wrote 80% of the material you’ll hear. There is no doubt the minute that you hit play that a new chapter in Lonestar has began, but there is also that familiar pop edged country sound full of values focused on life and love that we’ve come to expect from them as they offer on their mid to up-tempo cuts like “Y.O.U.,” “Let Me Love You,” “Goodbye Is Goodbye” and “Live, Laugh, and Love.”
