I saw Marc in Denver last night at the Botanic Gardens. A marvelous show opened by Kathy Matea. Marc played several cuts from ’70 and the crowd loved them. I’ve been listening to the CD all day.

Congrats Saguaro Road… Marc was a good catch!

Heard it on Acoustic Cafe, bought it at Starbucks, don’t like to admit I go in there, but, Cohn and Leventhal, hard combination to not like. I think Cohn’s voice might be better than 20 years ago, if that’s possible, and Leventhal…well, he’s just damn good. ie check out he and Roseanne.

Great news. The legendary British DJ Bob Harris played TWO tracks from the new CD on Radio 2 (the most listened to radio station in the UK) on Sunday morning (After Midnight and The Only Living Boy In New York) and is planning to play Into the Mystic this coming Sunday. Bob’s comments on the new CD? “Beautiful … Really heartfelt. Marc has done justice to all the tunes on the CD”

The songs sound splendid!

I am not a huge fanboy, but I respect Mr. Cohn’s work. After hearing his cover of “The Letter,” however, I will request it be turned off as a matter of policy. It’s a brutalization of the song, a down tempo faux-Clapton chug, when the Box Tops original and Joe Cocker’s 1970 cover screamed swagger and sexual desperation> Rather than demand the world bend to his will for a woman, Cohn’s version sounds wistful about a great weekend last month before his Viagra prescription ran out.

Can’t wait for this new LISTENING BOOTH album, and then for Marc to do a tour/show here in San Francisco area to promote it in the coming months…

Have been listening to the amazing teasers he’s posted on his Facebook page, and love it all..

Hopefully Roseanne Cash will be able to join him on this tour, esp. for our SanFran area show!

PS. Is there any way to get your webmaster to program date/time stamps for these replies on this page, so we can see when other folks posted their comments.. it’s weird to not know whether these are responses from weeks, months or years ago..
