Husky-voiced American Idol singing sensation Harold “Bo” Bice hailed from Helena, Alabama, and brought his Southern sensibility with him to the fourth season of Fox TV’s hit talent contest. American Idol finalist Bo Bice is putting the finishing touches on his third album, happy to get the opportunity to make the record he always wanted to make. Bo put his heart and soul into his new album, a mixture of Southern Rock, Country and Americana plus that special ingredient: Bo’s amazing, earthy and versatile voice.

Bo teamed up with a variety of co-writers and penned more than 20 songs to choose from for his new album. He then recruited a team of great musicians for the studio, including Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman, and the result is a strong album featuring rockin’ tracks and great ballads alike on which we hear the real Bo Bice. New album tracks include Good Hearted Woman, Long Road Back’, Different Shades of Blue, and Take Yourself with You.

In 2005 Southern rocker Bo Bice competed weekly on the American Idol against New York rocker Constantine Maroulis. Eventually Bice emerged a favorite and went all the way to the winner’s circle where he was the AI runner-up to country sweetheart Carrie Underwood from Oklahoma. But with his gritty and soulful voice, Bice rocked like no other contestant, ultimately proving his versatility, stage presence and range.

Edwin McCain Climbs Top 25 AC Chart

Good news Saguaro fans.

Edwin McCain “Walk With You” is a Top 25 single in R&R/Billboard this week, moving up 3 spots from 28.

It remains at 29 on Mediabase.

It’s also the 4th most added this week in R&R/Billboard.

The band themselves had pretty much a total hand in this album as they took on the role of producer and wrote 80% of the material you’ll hear. There is no doubt the minute that you hit play that a new chapter in Lonestar has began, but there is also that familiar pop edged country sound full of values focused on life and love that we’ve come to expect from them as they offer on their mid to up-tempo cuts like “Y.O.U.,” “Let Me Love You,” “Goodbye Is Goodbye” and “Live, Laugh, and Love.”
